10 Minutes prep time, 45 minutes cook time – serves 10-12
When she says easy, she means easy… This one requires almost no work on the part of the cook, just a bit of time to allow the milk to soak into the dry pasta
Ingredients:
3 C Macaroni (dry, uncooked)
3 C Cheddar Cheese, shredded (Hold back 1/2 C to cover top)
6 C Whole Milk
4 T Butter, melted
2 t Salt
1 t Pepper
Grease a 9×13 casserole dish. Mix together Macaroni, 2 1/2 C cheese, butter, S & P. Pour milk over everything making sure all macaroni is covered. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 C cheese on top.
Cover with plastic wrap and leave sit at room temperature for at least 2 hours or up to 4.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 35-45 minutes or until set.
