This one’s just for fun and one that I assume was from Rhodes Grove when cooking for a crowd
1 5# bag of bread cubes – equivalent to 4 gallon or 4-5 loaves
4 C Celery, chopped
1 C Onion, chopped
1 C Butter
1 C Parsley Flakes
4 C Veg stock or Milk (could substitute other stock flavors depending on meat choice)
1 T Salt – doesn’t seem like much but any more is too much
1 t Pepper
Saute celery, onion & parsley in butter. Add to stock & seasonings and then lightly toss with bread cubes.
Excellent mixed the day before and warmed in the steamer for 30 minutes. Otherwise, bake at 300 convection for 30-40 minutes.
